One of the main reasons I got into exercise professionally was because I loved how empowered it made me feel. I turned my focus to fitness instead of thinness; to my internal feelings instead of external looks.
We live in a world that is very visual. It used to be billboards, now it's social media. Images of people are everywhere. It's harder to think about how we feel inside. And currently there is a movement toward accepting all body types, but that wasn't the case for quite a long time.
Here's to feeling empowered and strong, and bringing that energy into our daily lives and day-to-day tasks.
